Project Description

Combined outdoor project – decks, walls, groundwork and hedge (front and back)

We are looking for one coordinating contractor or landscaper (anleggsgartner) to take responsibility for a combined outdoor project on the front and back of a detached house in Ulsurud, Oslo. The project spans several trades – masonry, decking/carpentry, groundwork and fencing – and we primarily want ONE firm that either self-performs or coordinates its own subcontractors, rather than four separate agreements.

Materials and finish:

Open to suggestions on decking material (pressure-treated / hardwood / composite). No railing needed (ground-level decks). A uniform look from front to back is important to us.

Practical:

Flexible on start date. We are available for site visits at your convenience.

We ask that the quote be broken down by item (masonry, decking, groundwork, fence, hedge), clearly stating what is and isn't included, with references from similar outdoor projects and confirmation of sentral godkjenning / mesterbrev where relevant.

Work Items - Front

  1. Rebuild brick walls, approximately 80cm high
  2. Plant barlind (yew) hedge along front fence (7.9m)
  3. Build new ground veranda (L-shaped, 3.5m back edge, 4.0m deep, 5.0m front edge)
  4. Build new front stairs (~2.5m wide, integrated with new ground veranda)

Work Items - Back

  1. Replace and extend ground veranda (from ~1.5m to ~4.0m deep, jog 2.3m wide, front edge 7.5m, uniform look)
  2. Remove hedge (~14.4m total, L-shaped)
  3. Level the ground as far out as possible
  4. Set up fence (at property boundary)
